Christmas Gift Ideas / Stocking Fillers under £30

It's that time of year again where you start to stress as you have absolutely no idea what to buy a relative, friend, or partner for christmas. And if like me you leave it to the very last minute, then panic really does start to set in.
The shops online and on the high street are literally bursting with gifts, to the point where you really do not know where to look or go. To help take away some of that stress, I have come up with a gift guide for both men and women, under £30. If your spending power isn't strong this year, then this will be a very much welcomed guide for your budget. So without further ado, lets go shopping.

Women

Soap and Glory 'The Whole Glam Lot'- RRP £60.00, now £30.00

I don't know anyone who is not aware of this deal; absolute bargain, filled with many favourites. The products included are:

Sugar Crush Body Wash (500ml)
The Scrub of your life Super-Smoothing Body Buffer (200ml)
The Righteous Butter Body Butter (300ml)
Smoothie Star Deep Moisture Body Milk (500ml)
Hand Food Hydrating Hand Cream (125ml)
Face Soap and Clarity 3-In-1 Daily Detox Vitamin C Facial Wash (150ml)
Speed Plump Super Moisture Day Cream (50ml)
Thick & Fast High-Definition Collagen Coat Mascara (10ml)
Sexy Mother Pucker Lip Gloss in ROSE & SHINE (4ml)
Hand Maid Antibacterial Hand Cleansing Gel (50ml)

All products are full size, and even better the products come in, what I call, carry-on like travel case. Great for storage, and reasonable enough in size that it can be discreetly stored away without taking up too much space. With all that is included, this will keep you going for an incredibly long time. So grab this gift set quickly while stocks last.

edit: I thought this offer lasted until Christmas Eve, when actually it ended Thursday 15th December at 23:59. However rumour has it Boxing Day sales this bad boy may be back. But if you cannot wait until then, your next best option is eBay, whereby people obviously purchased at £30.00 and are now charging a ridiculous price! Choice is yours . . .

Beautciology Bath and Shower Gel Set - RRP 18.00, now £9.99

TKMaxx this year, are seriously 'killing it' in terms of gift sets. I have been instore and online, and literally whoever you are looking to buy for, guaranteed you will find something for that special person. I spotted this little gift set which I thought was really cute and affordable. The set includes Spiced Orange Body Wash 300ml, Cranberry Shower Creme 300ml, Plum Pudding Body Butter 50ml, and Toasted Marshmallow Body Butter 50ml. What I also found cute was the packaging which housed the items; I figured once the products are used this would make for a good storage case to house little bits and pieces, i.e. nail polishes / hair accessories and etc.

Liz Earle The Cleanse and Polish Gift Set - £15.50

The no.1 multi award winning cleansing product from Liz Earle is a definite winner for many. Ideal for all skin types, the cleanse and polish set will be a very much welcomed gift. I have used cleanse and polish in the past, and it is in fact a pretty good cleanser. Very smooth, gentle and soothing on the skin, without being harsh and drying. With everyday use this cleanser will last an incredibly long time, which surprised me when I had the product. A definite winner, a gift set not to be sniffed at, I say.

Yankee Candlee 'Christmas Eve' - RRP £21.99 now £15.39

Can't beat Yankee Candle. I had this candle a few Christmas' ago, and it smells absolutely incredible. Although it is titled 'christmas eve', it is not heavily scented with traditional christmas fragrances. I found it to be a very subtle scent; warm hearth, sugared plums, and candied fruits, but very light in the atmosphere, not becoming overpowering / sickly. The candle burned very well, i.e. no wax left at the sides of the jar, or finishing with lots of product still at the bottom of the jar. If you have a candle fanatic who does not like heavily scented / bog standard christmas candles, this one is a definite must.

Babyliss Curling Wand Pro Hair - RRP £25.00, now £20.00

Ladies love to glam / dress up for those evening occasions, especially when it comes to the 'hair do'. Wanting to give the hair that extra 'oomph', adding a few curls / waves here and there does wonders for creating that 'va va voom' look. The Curling Wand from Babyliss is a great tool for creating those curls for whatever desired look; whether that be tight curls, loose waves, adding volume and etc. This heats incredibly quick, so if you're running late (ha most women usually are), this will heat fast, with no excessive waiting around. The wand is extra long to allow for easy styling, and for safety precautions a protective glove comes with the curler. For what it does, the price on this is a steal; an offer not to be turned down.

Hotel Chocolat The Large Festive Wreath - Cookie £20.00

Chocolate . . . love it, especially Hotel Chcolat. If you're willing to part with an extra 'few bob' on this luxurious chocolate for that special someone, then Hotel Chocolat is the place to go. I have purchased this in the past, and it simple is divine. The chocolate wreath is filled with lots of nibbly cookie pieces and florentine almond squares, it really is an exquisite combination. However it is very rich, so you only need a little for that chocolate fix. As well as tasting wonderful, it also looks incredibly stunning.

Burt's Bees Nature's Festive Christmas Gift Set -  £14.99

You really cannot go wrong with Burt's Bees; such wonderful products, and this gift set is an absolute bargain. Filled with wonderful products for your hands, lips and feet, this sure will be the set to ensure those areas are well cared for during this winter. The set includes Coconut Foot Cream 20g, Soap Bark & Chamomile Deep Cleansing Cream 20g, Hand Salve 8.5g, Vanilla Bean Lip Balm 4.25g and Beeswax Lip Balm with Vitamin E & Peppermint Oil 4.25. The products smell great, so rest reassured not only will the lips and body be well looked after, but also whoever is in possession of this will sure be smelling absolutely wonderful.

This Works Sleepy Head - £13.00

Sleepless nights are the absolute worst. Tossing and turning, clock watching, when all you want is a few hours kip. Well look no further this little set will definitely help sleep to kick in. The set includes deep sleep pillow spray, sleep plus pillow spray, and sleep plus hair elixir; all of which have been formulated to re-install calmness allowing for a peaceful nights sleep throughout the night. Winding down for christmas allows for our bodies to relax and catch up with ourselves, however come into the new year when it is time to go back to work, and the regular routine has somewhat gone pear-shaped, this will be a welcomed gift to regaining a proper sleep routine.

Real Techniques Starter Kit (eyes) - £20.99

The Real Technique brushes are incredibly popular; they're affordable and are of good quality. For someone who is getting into makeup / growing their kit, these brushes are essential for creating excellent eye definition. This set includes 5 full size brushes; base shadow brush, deluxe crease brush, accent brush, pixel point eyeliner brush and brow brush. All of these tools are held in a professional case & stand.

Who doesn't have a journal or a notebook of some kind? Don't know about you, but I simply cannot live without mine, and I am sure there are some fellas out there who feel exactly the same. This would make a great gift for someone who often jots down thoughts, ideas, lists, everyday things on various paper, rather than one journal housing all their thoughts. Contains ruled pages on good quality paper, with ribbon marker and keepsake pocket. The design is simple, yet very modern but more importantly designed in a manner that will encourage frequent use. A must purchase for the one who often have thoughts on scrap pieces of paper here, there and everywhere!

007 Signature 50 Eau De Toilette Gift Set - £27.95

''Vodka martini, shaken not stirred''. (yes I am a Bond fan). The majority of men (and his dog), love James Bond, and even more so the fragrance. Masculinity and sophistication are at the very heart of the original James Bond fragrance for men. The fragrance embodies the unique duality of Bonds' character; a smooth irresistible combination of masculinity and sophistication. This set includes EDT 50ml & Shower Gel 150ml, beautifully presented in packaging which just oozes what James Bond is about. If you're looking for a set which is simple yet hidden behind its simplicity is much much more, then this is definitely not to be left on the shelf.

Wahl Rechargeable Definer Trimmer Gift Set - £21.00

Men love to keep themselves well groomed / looked after, so this set would definitely not be turned down. A trimmer primarily for the hair, necklines, and sideburns, offering precision executing those sharp desired lines, this trimmer offers everything a man wishes for in a box. Of course a true trimmer cannot come alone in this set; a nasal trimmer is also in the mix; to cut those straggler strands from the nostrils. For what you receive in this box, for the price, it is in fact a great steal. So go on, treat the fella (or yourself maybe), and grab this superb deal.

Lazy Man Self Stirring Mug - RRP £7.99, now £5.99

For the men out there who find the most simplest of tasks challenging, this gift may well be up his street. A self stirring mug that more or less finishes off making your delightful cup of coffee / tea, what more can I man ask for. Operated by a simple button which you push, and hey presto! you have your perfectly stirred hot drink. Safe to say this is definitely a novelty gift for the lazy . . .very very lazy?!

T.M Lewin Blue Royal Oxford Button Down Casual Shirt - RRP £34.95, now £19.95

A shirt is always a great gift to receive and this is one which would definitely sit proud in a wardrobe. Cut from 100% Egyptian cotton, in a distinctive Royal Oxford weave, it is soft and luxurious. Teamed with a smart pair of trousers / jeans and chinos, this would make a superb outfit. Currently at a reasonable price for a shirt which is of good quality, snap this one up before it disappears.

Scratch Map - £11.99

Showing off holiday pictures is a tad outdated these days, so why not demonstrate travels via a Scratch Map. Think scratch card and then apply to the map of the world. Cool huh? The idea behind this is for each country visited, scratch it off to reveal colourful illustrations on the map. A decorative and colourful piece to hang in the home, but also a wonderful way of having constant reminders of past travels. This is certainly one for the globetrotters.

And there we have it, gifts under £30 for both men and women.
I hope this blog post has been helpful to you in finding gifts for someone you are perhaps struggling to buy for.

Are you usually a 'lastminute dot com' shopper, or do you always have your shopping done and dusted by 1st December? Would love to hear your thoughts.
